Super Stickman Golf is a 2D golf game that's really easy to pick up and play, with tons of fantastical themed courses, interesting power-ups, and excellent physics-based gameplay. Though the game has a huge amount of arcade-like features, the goal is always the same: try to get the ball in the hole in as few shots as possible. The challenge is that it can be much harder than it looks.
Rather than your standard 3D layout seen in many golf games, Super Stickman Golf offers up a 2D platformer experience. The courses often have multiple levels you'll need to reach and obstacles you'll need to avoid to finally get on the green.
The interface consists of arrows on the left to adjust the arc of your shot, a button in the middle for bringing in bonus items (more on that later), and a "Go!" button you'll need to hit twice for each shot (one to start the swing, and a second time to adjust shot power.
Beyond the many themed courses that keep the game interesting, you also have some extra arcade elements to add some flavor. As you play, you'll unlock unique balls like the Sticky Ball, for example, that sticks to surfaces after you hit the ball--great for courses where there are shafts you need to climb to get to the green. You also can unlock "Super Clubs" that make it so you can stop a ball mid air, or freeze water hazards, as examples. Each of the arcade elements are well thought out and add a unique twist to the game.
Overall, with over 260 holes to play across several themed courses, unique obstacles, arcade elements, and local and online multiplayer, Super Stick Man Golf has plenty to offer any arcade golf fan.

According to sources with knowledge of Apple’s supply chain, the iPhone5 is set to ship in September. Reuters reports – quoting these sources – that production of the next-generation iPhone starts in July and it includes the same features as the iPhone4. However, there is no shortage of information on the iPhone5 design, and the latest bombshell was dropped by the guys from ‘this is my next’ – who claim to have some intimate information and based on that they devised a mockup of the iPhone5.
As Engadget said earlier this year, the design of the phone is set to radically change, and the guys from ‘this is my next’ designed an iPhone that looks similar to the iPod touch. It is thinner and it has a teardrop shape that follows the lines of the MacBook Air.
All of us know that Apple tests many devices before they place it on the production line, but is this the new iPhone? If yes, then perhaps we should all move on!
There are two radical changes: the screen and the home button got bigger. The sources say that Apple is doing some interesting things with bonded glass technology, and the guys from ‘this is my next’ sketched up the iPhone with an impressive 3.7 inch screen and a pixel density of 312 pixels. This does mean that Apple can now tout Retina Display technology.
But the home button – the sources say that “the home button is doing double duty as a gesture area”, so this equates to a bigger home button. Unfortunately, big is not always beautiful!
Iphone 5 Features
Iphone5 Features seem impressive enough to match up or even go beyond the existing Android smartphones to excite users to buy this new model. Based on the latest Iphone5 News, credible techs as well as financial media there are sources suggesting that this new model has lackluster upgrades. For instance, a white iPhone 4 will give you just what the name suggest, no mega-pixel camera, A5 chip or iOS 5.Luckily for iPhone fans, those features are projected to show up in the iPhone 5 according some financial analysts who have inside contacts. However, what might appear to be bad news is that those three features could be the most significant improvements differentiating the iPhone5 and the current iPhone 4 models. So, those users who are looking forward to more radical changes might have to wait until 2012 for the release of the iPhone 6.
Other Iphone5 News and Information
When it comes to an update for the release, the tech media outlets are still divided about when the production and unveiling will start for this model. A research note for Avian Securities not so long ago have been widely cited in an excerpt in Business Insider to state that in line with conversations with a important supplier, mass production will not start before September, resulting in a possible launch date for the later part of 2011 or even early 2012.Iphone5 Features
This device will not come with a brand-new design, but will be an enhanced and refreshed version of iPhone 4 which is said to be slight modifications. These include an A5 processor that is faster; an 8 mega- pixel camera at the back; a change to a Qualcomm baseband for CDMA and GSM versions, as well as an enhanced antenna design. One of the most surprising reports would be that the iOS 5 is expected to be the main selling point and this is going to be released or maybe announced long before the phone. Even though some might not agree that the changes are going to be slight, it seems like they could fall short of what consumers were expecting.
Finally, the current testing of iOS 5 might help to dispel some of the rumours about the iPhone 4. Besides that, there is a report that AT&T and Apple Inc are supposedly in the process of testing the iOS 5 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in real world settings. There is also another report which indicates that the testing of iOS 5 are being carried out currently on the available iPad, iPhone and iPod touch models, instead of the iPhone 4 prototype.

Imagine that you're searching for a restaurant or for a movie time on your iPhone, but instead of receiving a long list of links, you see thumbnail images for Web sites instead. Meet Do@ (doo-at), an iPhone freebie that does just that.
With Do@, search results aren't just thumbnails for pages you have to load, they're active Web sites that you can enter, explore, and exit without losing the rest of those live site results.
Search begins with a query as usual, and when you start typing, the app supplies suggestions--not for common phrases, but for contextual categories to narrow your search. For example, type "Inception" and you'll get to pick from suggestions like "Inception @search," "@movies," "@Netflix," and so on. Type sushi and you'll see restaurant, recipe, and Amazon category types. The app launches with about 30 categories and more than 400 searchable Web apps.
There are all the usual social networking tie-ins like sharing on Twitter, Facebook, and via e-mail, and marking favorites. The app is notably rich as well, with tricks like being able to scrub through a filmstrip of visual search results, and scroll beyond a first page of results to a second, even third batch. The more you pick a site in your search results, the closer to the top of your results list you'll see it on subsequent searches (you can remove the app to downshift its importance in future attempts.) If your friends use Do@, their recommendations will also surface higher in your results queue.
Do@'s media and lifestyle focus is clear, as is its goal to revolutionize search. Unlike other apps that claim such a feat, Do@'s visual approach is actually innovative, interesting, and useful.

If you've ever used SoundHound (or its arch rival Shazam) chances are good you were holding your phone out to identify a catchy song whose name you didn't know. Now the company is introducing Hound, SoundHound's little sibling, but one with a slightly different identity.
Instead of helping name that tune, Hound for Android and iPhone prompts you to search for a song or artist with just the spoken word. Unlike SoundHound, the abbreviated Hound won't accept singing, humming, typing, or recorded sounds.
The results pull from SoundHound's music database, displaying album or artist art, a YouTube snippet, tour dates, an info page, a shortcut to the digital music store, and lyrics when they're available.
Like its big sib, Hound is a polished, slick-looking piece of software that offers a variety of useful information about songs and singers. We demoed it on both platforms, and for the most part, the app was fast, especially when fulfilling more-specific requests for an artist or song. The iPhone version delivers the extra benefit of hooking into the iPod music player, to plays those songs you may already own.
Since the app focuses on rapid, voice-driven music search, its uses are also more narrow. As a standalone app, it's functional and attractive but not as broadly applicable as the free SoundHound and premium SoundHound Infinity apps, both which go beyond this lighter app's functionality.
While Hound has its immediate uses, the app also lays the groundwork for SoundHound to step into other categories of voice search, which will bring it into more direct competition with companies like Google, Nuance, and possibly Vlingo. That's a smart move for SoundHound to expand from the algorithm-honed Sound2Sound database that powers these apps in the first place, to other implementations for its so far superior aural processing. Hound is a good start, but we're already looking forward to what comes next.
