Kies Air is Samsung’s native Wifi based syncing application for the Galaxy S line of phones that allows you to manage your phone from your computer’s desktop.

If you read our review of the Free PowerPoint Remote for Android, you will be familiar with the Galaxy S’ ability to interface with a computer utilizing a shared WiFi network. Samsung’s Kies Air works on the same principle, but this time the computer will be controlling the phone’s contents.

Once connected, you can access your phone’s contacts, messages, call logs and media as well as send texts via computer, all without having to download anything on your computer. You simply type in the IP that Kies gives you into your computer’s browser and the Kies Air manager will load. Here are the step-by-step instructions so you can give it a try yourself:

Installing Kies Air:
1. Download KiesAir.apk and move it to your phone’s SD card

Having free applications is one of the great benefit of Android market. Today Google announced that the market hits 70000 apps, and 1 Billion download. While Samsung Galaxy has a lot of pre-load applications, you’d like to share my best free application in the Android market.
* We do not mention Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Stock apps since Galaxy S already has pretty decent applications.
1. Advanced Task killer
Samsung Galaxy S has 512MB RAM, but always the faster is the better. This Advanced Task killer provides you one click killing processes. ATM also includes a handy widget that “Ends All.” Advanced Task Manager also gives the user the option to exclude certain programs that the widget and the program itself will not end; otherwise, when the widget is used it kills all currently running applications and background processes, providing a very quick and nifty way to keep our system clean and quick.
The app has a free version with ads and $0.99 for the paid version with no ads.

2. Kindle
Amazon recently announced that an Android application for their popular e-book Kindle service is now available on the Android market for your download.

"What is the WPS button connection on the Galaxy S really do? i try once and it show a message (press WPS on your Wi-Fi access point within 2 minutes). my Q is that where the hell is that button? or how do i really use this function ? pls advice?"

The feature doesn’t come from default Android OS, Samsung provides it exclusively to help users set WPS-enabled Wi-Fi easily.
WPS(Wi-Fi Protected Setup) is a standard in this phone for easy and secure wireless network connections. Most recent released Wi-Fi router comes with this feature.
If your Wi-Fi router has a WPS button, you simply press the button on the device, then they will find the link and connect securely. You will no longer need to enter the information such as a network name and a wireless password or a encryption key.
1. Turn on Wi-Fi first.
2. Press WPS button connection where Setting > Wireless and network > Wi-Fi settings

3. Now press WPS button on your Wi-Fi router For many routers. WPS button on the router needed to be pressed more than two seconds.

Try to surf the internet. Isn’t it convenient? Enjoy the WPS connection!

Are you waiting for Windows Phone 7 update? As you may know, there are rumors that it could be released as early as Feb 7th. The update might include copy & paste, phantom data usage fix, and performance enhancement.
Here is how to update Windows Phone 7 via Zune.
1) Install Zune first, if you don’t have. The Zune is required to update your phone. Mac users can get Windows Phone 7 Connector from here.
2) Connect your Windows Phone 7 with the Zune though USB cable.

3) Turn on updates on your Windows Phone 7.
Setting > System > Phone Update
Once the update is available, the phone will notify you.

4) If the update can’t be installed OTA, then make sure the Windows Phone 7 device is not connected to the Zune. Make sure if your Zune software is up to date. (At Zune, Setting > Software > General > Software Updates > Check for updates.)
5) Reconnect the Windows phone 7 to your PC and restart the phone, you should get the notification about the update and the Zune software guide you through the installation.
