5 must have free apps for Samsung Galaxy S

Having free applications is one of the great benefit of Android market.  Today Google announced that the market hits 70000 apps, and 1 Billion download. While Samsung Galaxy has a lot of pre-load applications, you’d like to share my best free application in the Android market.
* We do not mention Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Stock apps since Galaxy S already has pretty decent applications.


1. Advanced Task killer
Samsung Galaxy S has 512MB RAM, but always the faster is the better. This Advanced Task killer provides you one click killing processes. ATM also includes a handy widget that “Ends All.” Advanced Task Manager also gives the user the option to exclude certain programs that the widget and the program itself will not end; otherwise, when the widget is used it kills all currently running applications and background processes, providing a very quick and nifty way to keep our system clean and quick.
The app has a free version with ads and $0.99 for the paid version with no ads.

2. Kindle
Amazon recently announced that an Android application for their popular e-book Kindle service is now available on the Android market for your download.
Thanks to bright and sharp Samsung Super AMOLED display it goes with Galaxy S nicely.
What’s great about the Kindle application is that it remembers what page you left off on, and automatically pulls you to that page when you launch any of Amazon’s Kindle applications, be it Kindle for PC, iPhone, or on your Kindle device itself. This is quite convenient and gives it one step up on several other e-book reader applications out there today. Add on Amazon’s impressive book database and you have yourselves one killer, must-have e-book application for the Android platform.

3. Pandora Internet radio
You know what eh Pandora is. What is the better thing to use it in Samsung Galaxy S is the phone provides 7 home screens where you may customized with Widgets. If you install the pandora widget, it will give you a lot of convenience for listening internet radio.

4. IMDB Movies & TV
It boasts they have the world largest Movie DataBase, providing Android users to find showtimes, watch trailers, browse photos, get TV listings, track DVD/Blu-Ray releases, explore popular charts and top 100/250 lists, and search their database of over 1.5 million movies and TV shows. You can enjoy high quality trailer through Super AMOLED display.

5. Google Goggles
Google goggle is a visual search app that google allows you to take a picture of an object with your camera and it will attempt to recognize it. It tries to notice 8 kinds(Text, Landmarks, Books, Contact info, Artwork, Places, Wine, Logos) of objects and places.
